At 19 year old we were trying to get into the real estate business. this investor claim he was cutting us a good deal and this was the way to get into the business. HE put us on a personal contract lease to start, where we paid him $500 per month for 6 months and we used our own money to fix it up. He said that once we fixed it up, we were going to sell it, it wanted a profit off the top and we would walk away with a profit. At the end we had paid him for those 6 months, and was told that we would be purchasing the home as an investment home. It turns out we purchased the home as a primary residence and he sold it too us for the amount that we were suppose to sell it for. So now we have a mortgage.We were still living in an apt and still is now. So we went back to him and he suggested we rent it out then flip it, whatever that means. We were so deperate at 19 to get someone in the house to cover the mortgage we let them move in just covering the mortgage. zthe tenant is ok but this isnt waht we plan. We stop the escrow on the house b/c the notes were so high, and we have been paying the insurance and taxes out of pocket for 2 years. We are now 22, still in the apt with a baby on the way and we can't afford to pay taxes and insurance. We can't go up on the rent b/c the tenant would leave. What do we do?
