Before I started investing in RE, I studied to be a paralegal. I then got started in RE investing. After reading many courses & attending seminars, I wrote several courses myself. I wrote a course on Sub 2's, Lease Options, Finding sellers, land trust etc.
I then started seeing posts by Bronchick & others about courses being pirated. I decided to find out for myself who were these sellers & buyers to make sure that courses were protected also from these acts.
In order to find these people I used my name that I had built up by posting in many message boards to find out who was behind these pirated courses. I started offering these "courses" myself with the purpose of having these bootleggers contact me to add to their collection. Besides Bronchick had offerd a reward for finding these people.
To make a long story short, I found 3 major bootleggers. In Charlotte NC, Kileen TX & Australia.
However, I did not think that this would backfire as many accused me of being the bootlegger. I got blocked & attacked by many Gurus, so I just decided to stop trying to play police & leave everyone alone & conentrate on my investing. I also teamed up with a very good mentor named Darryl Sandoval. Even your course is being pirated although I think its not good quality. Anyway, like I said, I'm not a police & for trying to play one, I got slandered.
A real expert in RE investing will make his living applying his techniques instead of just selling courses.
