I have a personal source of money (silent partner) for any property I would like. I live in the Austin Texas area but am able and willing to go to as far as San Antonio or even further to find a house. I have a good idea of how to pick a good house or deal, but don't know the legal paperwork that needs to be completed to make sure I do everything right. What would anyone suggest to point me in the right direction to make sure that I can safely close a deal and sell with confidence? Where can I look to make sure I have all the paperwork I need? Any general advice for a person on their first property deal to make sure I don't forget? We are able to rehab the house ourselves, so we know when a house is able to be repaired and still come out on top. I just want to make sure we know as much as possible to be prepared when we step in front of our first seller. Any info would be great. Thanks for your time.
